What are the possible side effects of Esomed Neck and Hand?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Esomed Neck and Hand topical and call your doctor at once if you have:

severe skin redness, burning, or stinging;
-
severe skin dryness, cracking, or bleeding;
-
blisters or oozing; or
-
blue or black discoloration of the skin (especially if you are Hispanic or African-American).
Common side effects may include:

mild burning or stinging of treated skin; or
-
mild itching, redness, or other irritation.

Side effects of Esomed Neck and Hand in details
Mild burning, stinging, redness, and dryness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
If your doctor has prescribed this medication, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
Stop using Esomed Neck and Hand and tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: blistering, skin cracking, blue-black darkening of the skin.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

What is the most important information I should know about Esomed Neck and Hand?
- Protect your skin from the sun during and after the use of Esomed Neck and Hand cream. Limit sun exposure, use a sunscreen, and wear protective clothing to cover the treated areas.
- Esomed Neck and Hand cream is for external use only. Avoid getting Esomed Neck and Hand cream in your eyes, nose, or mouth, or on your lips. If you get Esomed Neck and Hand cream in your eyes, wash them out with water and contact your doctor. If you get Esomed Neck and Hand cream on your lips or in your nose or mouth, rinse with water.
- Do not use Esomed Neck and Hand cream on irritated or injured skin.
- Do not use Esomed Neck and Hand cream with products that contain hydrogen peroxide or benzoyl peroxide. This may cause a dark staining of your skin. The staining can be removed by stopping use of the peroxide and washing your skin with soap and water.
- Do not use Esomed Neck and Hand cream with other medicines containing resorcinol, phenol, or salicylic acid unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
- Some of these products contain sulfites, which can cause allergic reactions in certain individuals (eg, asthma patients). If you have previously had allergic reactions to sulfites, contact your pharmacist to determine if the product you are taking contains sulfites.
- Esomed Neck and Hand cream is not recommended for use in CHILDREN younger than 12 years of age. Safety and effectiveness in this age group have not been confirmed.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Esomed Neck and Hand cream during pregnancy. It is unknown if Esomed Neck and Hand cream is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Esomed Neck and Hand cream, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Esomed Neck and Hand contraindications
Before using Esomed Neck and Hand topical, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have liver or kidney disease.
Do not use Esomed Neck and Hand topical on skin that is sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, or irritated, or on an open wound. It could make these conditions worse. Wait until these conditions have healed before applying Esomed Neck and Hand topical.
Avoid getting this medication in your mouth or eyes. If it does get into any of these areas, rinse with water.
Avoid using skin products that can cause irritation, such as harsh soaps, shampoos, or skin cleansers, hair coloring or permanent chemicals, hair removers or waxes, or skin products with alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime. Do not use other medicated skin products unless your doctor has told you to.
Avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). Esomed Neck and Hand topical can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and sunburn may result. Use a sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) and wear protective clothing if you must be out in the sun.
